Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Job Summary: Thinkstream is seeking a staff Accountant with the following requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- Minimum of six (6) years of accounting experience, with progression in complexity and scope of assignments
- Experience with accounting systems, auditing standards, and automated record-keeping
- Project management and supervisory skills
- Written correspondence skills to write correspondence and reports
- Oral communication skills to interface with management and local government officials
- Oversee overall general ledger accounting functions, including billing, expenditure, treasury, equity compensation, and management of receivables collections
- Prepare and submit timely, monthly financial statements for internal reporting purposes
- Assume a lead role in other special projects as needed, including integration of acquired businesses, accounting system implementations, etc.
- Ability to manage accounting functions/keep books for multiple facility locations in the Baton Rouge, LA area
Qualified Accountant should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Minimum 1-3 years public accounting audit experience preferred and a CPA is preferred. 7+ years total accounting experience.; must possess strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC a plus.

Job Summary: Cutting edge technology company seeks contract technical writer to:
- Collaborate with IT developers to create technical documentation for systems developed in-house.
- Write articles, fact sheets, reference guides, and manuals for a wide range of uses.
- Assist in development of documentation procedures and standards
- Develop training strategies for technical department and systems
- Design training programs, including outline, text, handouts, and tests, and training exercises. Develop trainee and course evaluation tools.
- Provide individual and classroom training on computer applications and systems, IT policies and procedures, and equipment use and care, following outline, handouts, and texts.
We require a bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Computer Science, or a related field and 4-6 years of directly related experience. Must be familiar with a variety of technologies and technical concepts, practices, and procedures and demonstrate excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
