Thinkstream to Unveil New Public Safety Solutions at International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference
Breakthrough Electronic Ticketing and Suspect Identification Software Packages Highlight Company's Presence at Event
Baton Rouge, LA –Thinkstream Inc., one of the nation's leading innovators in criminal justice and public safety technology, announced that it will introduce and demonstrate a quartet of significant law enforcement software products at the annual International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference and Exposition in Orlando October 23-27.
Included in the demonstrations to be conducted at Exhibition Booth 2584 will be breakthrough applications for cost-efficient electronic ticketing, and the world's first Web-based solution for the generation of suspect photo lineups. Also on display will be a modular suite of communications tools featuring an unprecedented background search capability for mobile use, as well as a highly sophisticated application for regional sharing and allocation of public safety resources in emergency situations.
"We believe these latest additions to our portfolio of successful products will significantly enhance the ability of agencies across the country to effectively and efficiently enforce the law, as well as accelerating their response to critical emergency situations," Thinkstream President and CEO Barry Bellue said. "These products have already attracted attention and interest during the lead-in to their introductions, and we're excited about the opportunity to present them and to demonstrate their capabilities at such an important and well-attended conference."
An integrated solution for electronic creation and printing of tickets in the field, E-Citation speeds up both the writing of citations and the management and exchange of citation data across justice agencies. It's designed to save agencies both time and money by simultaneously streamlining and improving the reliability of the field citation process, from beginning to end.
The world's first Web-based solution for creating and displaying multi-person photo lineups, Laptop Lineup allows detectives and other law enforcement personnel to quickly create their own lineups – in the office or in the field – without having to wait for a technician to become available. The software connects to Thinkstream's database of more than 100,000 booking photos, automatically selecting
matches to the uploaded photo of the suspect and dramatically reducing the lag time between a crime and the presenting of a lineup to a witness.
Designed with the direct input of law enforcement personnel, Street Smart is a powerful, flexible set of communication tools that give officers deep, real-time searching and messaging capabilities and comprehensive mobile field reporting. Officers can pull up complete, detailed rap sheets with mug shots, disseminate information quickly and securely and communicate with other officers more efficiently than ever before.
CAD-to-CAD enables regional public safety agencies running incompatible systems to share data and manage the Computer Aided Dispatch of resources during emergency situations. Overlaying the entire regional system with a SuperMap that is viewable on an agency, area or system-wide level, CAD-to-CAD graphically pinpoints incidents and the nearest available resources – reducing both emergency and routine response times to an absolute minimum.
