Communications captures the incident, stores it in the

on the type of incident, so a domestic violence form
collects different information than a public disturbance
form. Additionally, helpful wizards, step officers through

and that the record is as complete as possible.
- Intelligent routing of reports to appropriate
parties – completed incident reports
are is automatically routed to the supervisor for review
and approval. Additionally, rules can be set to automate
routing to other agencies or to other units for follow
up, such as domestic violence cases.

– state and national reporting standards are put
in place to enable the analysis of crime statistics.
